Good afternoon,

In response to your request for documents under the California Public Records Act received by the City, please be advised the City has reviewed its files and has determined there are no responsive documents to your request.

The Human Resources department provided the following response Understanding that the City’s Policy & Procedures Manual states that the “advertising guidelines” may include that “All local labor market advertisement will be placed in the Los Angeles Times utilizing multiple position block ads…”, there were no City positions advertised in the Los Angeles Times for the said positions.  Please note, that the policy also states that “[t]he guidelines may vary by the specific recruitment needs of each department taking into account such variables as uniqueness of position, equal employment opportunity, and past recruitment history.”

If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me.

Angie Verdin, Deputy City Clerk
